About seven feet from our balcony door a pair of robins built a nest so now we have to go outside a different way. I'll have to take a picture of the blue eggs when they aren't watching.
It appears you've come a long way. I remember one year of you tearing down all the nests and little birdies getting eaten by our bloated cats. Now you are rearranging your exits and entrances ;) There really is something awesome about seeing little birdies born and fly off- even of robins ;)
Born in 1948 (so I am a baby boomer) I remember living in a house that had kerosene lanterns and a wood stove and water had to be hauled in. In the winter it was easier because we simply had to bring in snow and melt it!
