Imogen visits the Judo Club

Sensei Grant Miller in his South Corman Park judo dojo is holding Imogen. The next picture is three generations of judoko: Andrew, Grandpa Ian, Jennifer Wallace and Imogen.

Winter is Back!

The weather people promised up to a foot of snow and they delivered. This is what we woke up to this morning looking out on the back deck and out the front balcony. Yesterday I was on my tractor grading the driveway and it had been about 10 C above normal for the past couple of weeks.

The young and the old

Imogen has such tiny fingers and she can wrap them so strongly around mine. It is interesting what 60 years of ageing does to the skin. (I'll be 60 this summer.) She is also starting to stand by holding her own weight although she needs help to balance. She can sit up but she doesn't discuss much about politics yet.
