Joseph is flying home to Ghana

Joseph's dad wants him to come home so here Joseph is practicing flying. Lindsay Orr is his assistant.

Barb and Dave Patterson held a pot-luck barbeque for Joseph to wish him well. We are hoping that within three to four months Joseph will be back.

Joseph always has a big smile and he will be missed.

Jennifer and John also made it to the barbeque along with many others from the church. Posted by Picasa

I guess Joseph is needed back home so it would be a good thing that he goes. Right?
I remember him, he is a really nice guy. Wish I could be there to spent time with you all.

I'm sorry to hear about Joseph going too. Tell him "bon voyage" from the Baggetts! I know you will all miss him. But we are all family- tell him first he left his family in Africa to go to Canada, and now he is leaving family in Canada to go back to Canada!

Our friends from Ivory Coast call me their aunt or sister and Ivan calls them Yaya- which is like aunt or uncle in their African language. That always makes them laugh with delight.

I'm sure it means a lot to all those "foreigners" to be welcomed into your home and treated as friends. I'm sure they also appreciate that mom may understand their feelings for missing home and learning a different life.

Sorry about the misspelling of your last name. I fixed it as soon as I could. Isn't this a great way to keep in touch?
