Easter activities

Jennifer was director of a musical again this year at her school (Ecole River Heights School) and here she is in front of one of the colourful sets that they had for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. Two of the main characters are on each side of her. And chocolate cake was served afterwards. Jennifer and John are driving to Calgary so they can visit Angela, Brian and Ivan and ? over the Easter break

I have about 11 days off before I go back to work so one of my projects is to replace an interior hollow-core door with an oak door. I have it stained and this is the second coat of Varithane that I am putting on inside the Cover-all. That way Ruth won't be bothered by the fumes. .

I learned something over the last couple of projects... staining is harder than it looks. Maybe I shouldn't have done my last project at night with an outdoor light, but come morning, there were drips all over. Oh, well, someone once told me as I tried to perfectly paint the little siding nails that no one will see the imperfections from the road!

It's good that you have some time to work on things like that. Usually they stay until the very last moment, until you have to do it. At least at my house because Dad is so busy being in Russia and all.
