We woke up this morning to see it snowing outside. Ruth's tupips were ready to come out in full bloom in the next day or two. Fortunately she covered up her tulips last night when the forcast was for -3 and snow.

- Born in 1948 (so I am a baby boomer) I remember living in a house that had kerosene lanterns and a wood stove and water had to be hauled in. In the winter it was easier because we simply had to bring in snow and melt it!

Crazy!!! Well, it seems like mom has her act together better than we do. We lost our peach crop AGAIN. It bloomed early and had little peaches growing when the temps dropped too low for it. Our first year, the ants ate them, so we found a solution to that, the next year it was birds, so we were scoping out netting to cover the tree, but frost beat us to them!
Enjoy the cool now, you'll probably get record Texas heat in a couple of months! Ivan and I did some errands by foot today, about 10 blocks and it about did us in! Next time I feel like exercise, we'll go to the pool!
Well, we had snow last weekend, for about 3 hours or so. So that was funny.
But this week we habe SUNSHINE and above 20°C. That's great, I love it. *haha*
We are supposed to get 20+ C weather by Saturday. Yesterday it went down to -5 C at night.
