She has put up with me for 35 years (almost) and I love her dearly. I think I'll take her to Paris to celebrate.

I guess you are a lucky guy Ian, right?! My Mom and Dad will hit the big 25 this year. So that will be a party. But Dad is doing the same as you do, but not to Paris but to St. Petersburg. *g*

Born in 1948 (so I am a baby boomer) I remember living in a house that had kerosene lanterns and a wood stove and water had to be hauled in. In the winter it was easier because we simply had to bring in snow and melt it!
