Happy Mother's Day

Ruth received a CD with 19 of her favorite songs on it. She also got cards, phone calls, a gift certificate, a meal and visiting. She even had time to visit Arzetta Perry at her group home. When Arzetta first saw me she asked, "Did you bring communion?" She had recently broken her arm but hasn't let that slow her down much and she remains cheerful and alert. Not bad for a 99-year-old!

Jennifer received a judo outfit from Shane and Susan Clark from the judo club. She also got a pair of shoes from Jessica her sister-in-law.
All around it was a pretty good mothers day as you can see from all the smiles.

Wow, now that's a Mother's Day.
Unfortunatly I was not able to see my mom and I couldn't buy her flowers. My brother did that though. I had to call her and we talked for a bit.
It's a bit annoying when you are away (even though it is not far).
