I leave Thursday Oct 13 and get back Dec. 6 so I probably won't post anything until I get back unless I can do something from India.

You should write more on your blog. Not just two sentences. Maybe a bit more about how you feel going to India. How you prepared, what you think might strike you or things you think are going to be quite different. I like the pictures you post, but most of the time it's just that. A blog should be a bit more personal, about what you anticipate, give us some insight into you. Share some memories or a story.
Andrea he started out sharing his thoughts on wordpress. "Preparing to go to India
Suitcase is packed, checklists are completed, tickets are booked (by Ray), passport has two visas (India and Myanmar) inserted, and responsibilities in Saskatoon have been passed on to others. Then the news says that management and labour for Air Canada still haven’t worked out their differences (of course the right-wing news slant of CBC is that the “Union may strike” on Thursday.) Thursday is the day we are to fly to Toronto and on to Zurich on Air Canada flights. We will have to see what transpires."
Born in 1948 (so I am a baby boomer) I remember living in a house that had kerosene lanterns and a wood stove and water had to be hauled in. In the winter it was easier because we simply had to bring in snow and melt it!
