We met with a Paite nationality congregation at 2:00 pm. The service lasted about 3 hours and later we were invited to visit in the home of Khatchin and his family. We had tea which consisted of a glass of water, almonds, cashews, bananas, boiled eggs, papaya, digestive cookies and, of course, tea. We finally got back to our hotel about 7:30. And we plan on being up early to leave by 5:30 for a four hour drive to Agra where the Taj Mahal is located. We watched a video that Paul Benjamin had produced to promote his parents care home in Southern India where we will shortly visit.
The parrot was a bird that the Khatchin family found in their yard and it couldn't fly so they took it in. The next picture is of the Khatchin family with the four team members. Someone throws buckets of wheat on a boulevard for the pigeons to congregate in this way. The next picture shows the ubiquitous yellow and green taxi. A major gas filling station chain is called Indian Oil. Brick-workers carry the bricks on their heads. Seven rows of traffic can be squeezed out of four marked lanes. Women often ride side-saddle on the back of motorcycles. And the last picture of Ray busy in his office...the hotel room.

Finally I can also see some pictures. *yeah* Nice impressions!
Remember even if the Parrot cannot fly it might talk, so no politics now! Love R
Hope you survived your ride to Agra and enjoyed the view of Agra! Sharon
Wow, I'm impressed, the motor cyclists has a helmet. Those are rare here in Mexico. If there is a helmet involved, the driver has his and the other memebers of his crew, often a woman and several children of various ages are without protection...sigh.
Looks like a great trip so far. I was looking for your Wordpress blog, so glas I found this link in the bulletin. Thanks for posting, pictures and words!!
