The Table that Great Uncle Archie built

My apologies to Angela that I stole a picture off her blog but my brother wanted to see a picture of the table and chairs, that he put together, being used. So, this is for you Archie, a picture of Ivan and Dominique in Abilene, TX having high tea.

Moon Eclipse

The sun was setting in the west as the full moon was rising in the east and we were on our way to Wed. night Bible study when we took the first picture.
The rusty-brown picture occurred when there was a total eclipse.

Valentine's Day Baby Shower

Ruth held a baby shower for the newest arrival in our congregation Isabella. Stacey is holding her daughter, Comfort is holding Marsay, and Jennifer is holding Imogen. The next picture is of Imogen holding her grandpa's finger.

The young and the old

On Sunday a group from the church went to visit Arzetita Perry and we spent a half hour or so singing. She was able to recognize a few of the songs and sing along. (She is 101 years old.) Her comment on the church service coming to her: "This is amazing!" Hugh and Irene Lock are the ones who organize the singing.















Here is a 60 year old hand and a one-and-a-half months old hand.

Imogen

Imogen came to visit and I wanted to get a picture of her hand in comparison to an adult hand but she would only make a fist so I'll have to try when she gets a little older. Jennifer has her left hand holding Imogen'e left hand so you can see how tiny her fingers are.

Cousins

Imogen is being carefully held by her cousin Ivan with Dominique making sure that Ivan does it right. It was great to have them all here, but it is nice to get back to work where things are not so energetic. Thanks for the memories Angela and Brian.

Imogen Grace Wallace is having a little nap after feeding but is still in observation in ICU probably for one more night. Her tests were all okay today so she will likely be able to join her parents tomorrow. Meanwhile Ivan and Dominique are having a great time visiting at Grandma and Grandpa's place and Dominique shows how much that she likes yogurt. The picture of me holding Imogen is the first time that I got to hold her.

Newest Granddaughter!

Imogen Grace Wallace a 8 pound baby girl born to Jennifer and John Wallace on Saturday December 15, 2007 at 7:10 pm. She has a good strong set of lungs but it will be a few days before mother and baby are allowed to go home.

Everyone is waiting!

Ivan and Dominique have arrived (along with their parents, of course). We also have a guest, Varnetta who is staying with us and they are checking out a Youtube video. Jennifer is in the hospital having her baby . . . no news to report yet.

Travis and Alicia and their 1 year old daughter Ceara Sass came to visit for Sunday dinner. We also had Jennifer and John out. About a week ago we had a bluejay come to visit and eat some bird seed off the front balcony. The Sasses are on a furlough after being in Brazil for 3 years.
