The sun was setting in the west as the full moon was rising in the east and we were on our way to Wed. night Bible study when we took the first picture. The rusty-brown picture occurred when there was a total eclipse.
Very cool. I didn't feel like taking pictures as I was busy with something else at the time but I did stop every now and then to check it out in the window. Maybe the next one on Dec 2010 I'll take some picts.
wow, those pictures turned out great! We too have our bible study on Wednesday nights. :) We were out with our group at a restaraunt on 2nd ave when it all happened. We all kept peering out the window.
Born in 1948 (so I am a baby boomer) I remember living in a house that had kerosene lanterns and a wood stove and water had to be hauled in. In the winter it was easier because we simply had to bring in snow and melt it!
