Ruth and I went out for a walk and a deer decided to run up our driveway. But then it stopped and decided to take a different route and run down the road a bit.

- Born in 1948 (so I am a baby boomer) I remember living in a house that had kerosene lanterns and a wood stove and water had to be hauled in. In the winter it was easier because we simply had to bring in snow and melt it!

Just the other day I was talking to a friend. I said I would love to have spring soon and he replied that he would rather have some more snow. I told him that's out of the question since we are in Germany and spring has to be here come April. However, in Canada I wouldn't mind since it's, well, Canada.
Looking at your photos I am not too wrong about snow in April.
