60th Birthday Party for Pete!

20 people showed up at a surprise party!










Duff, Archie, and Ian met in Edmonton to celebrate Pete surviving 60 years.

We were treated to gourmet meals and great times of visiting and sharing stories both real and imagined! Thanks to Marj for hosting us.

In the pictures are Archie and Jan MacLeod; Kathy Olson; Pete and Marj and their three children: Everett, Amber(and Dustin) and Cayley; Ian and Ruth and Andrew and Andrea, and Jennifer, John, Imogen and Isaac Wallace, Duff MacLeod, and a cousin Don Eastcott and Liz Eastcott.

Peter turned 60 in February but Everett turned 30 and Duff turned 70. (Also Liz and Don both had birthdays in February.)

Snowhenge?

I was scooping up the latest snowfall and it was quite cold out and the packed snow underneath lifted up in big chunks ... so what else was I supposed to do with them?

Isaac Sol Wallace has arrived!

August 25, 2010 Isaac was born to Jennifer and John Wallace at Royal University Hospital. He weighed in at 9 pounds, 4 ounces and he was four weeks early. Mother and baby are doing fine. Big sister Imogen is excited. The last I heard, the father was surviving too.

Andrea has arrived!

Andrea arrived last Friday so here is a photo of the whole family who were in church service on Sunday. The cousins: Ivan Baggett, Imogen Wallace, Emora Baggett, and Dominque Baggett.

It has been a busy couple of weeks since getting back from Mexico. Sheena, Moira and Arwyn came to visit for three days. They were at a table tennis clinic. Brian and I helped install cupboards at Jenn and John's place. We also started to work on the reno project on their house. I have also started to add a sun room over part of the back deck and hopefully will soon have this framed in so we can order the windows and doors. Next week will be work at Jenn and John's house renovation project.

Back from Mexico

July 5 I was at the job site and along with Jeff McCallum was responsible for putting up one of the classrooms of the school. Jake Wiebe and Roland Olson were in charge of the other classroom. The two buildings were joined by the roof. We had people from California, Washington, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba with 62 people altogether. The building was erected in a place called Maneadero, Baja California, Mexico. We stayed in a campground about a half hour away at a place called Los Pinos, Baja California, Mexico which means "The Pines" but I didn't see any pine trees.
